What is PSSR 2000 and why these regulations matter
The PSSR 2000 framework sets out the UK safety regulations for pressure systems, ensuring equipment operating under pressure is managed safely and correctly. These rules outline the legal duties, covering boilers, steam equipment, air receivers, refrigeration plants over 25 kW, and other high-risk assets.
To achieve full compliance with the Regulations 2000, businesses must understand what qualifies as a “relevant fluid”, including steam, compressed gases, and pressurised hot water.
Every inspection we carry out follows the scope defined in your Written Scheme of Examination. If you don’t have a WSE in place, we prepare one before the examination begins.
